Surreal acrylic painting on canvas (14 x 10 inches).

This painting symbolises power and greed. The golden apple, in Greek mythology, represents greed either in the Garden of Hesperides or Atalanta’s greed. The fruit is gold and a materialistic object. The apple is stuck in the mouth of a conch, another symbolic element. The power of the conch and the material wealth of the apple are fused together.

The beach is deserted and contains only a large shell. There is another shell in the air but there are no connecting elements between these and the conch.

A lenticular cloud drags near the conch. This represents the cyclical nature of money and power.

Painting inspired by the work of Vasko Taskovski and Dali.

Unframed.

Canvas is signed, has painted sides and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
